Warm Hearts And Cold Weather!

Well, the weather is getting quite cold for us here, as I am sure for many people around the globe. The best part of cold weather is the warm and hospitable people who brave the cold to shop, socialize and celebrate this time of year. I just want to say thanks to all of you. This time of year people, even the poorest of us, seem to glow with the happiness of festive holidays in the air. It does not matter what religion, nationality or country, it just seems like people seem more gracious and kind spoken as this time of year rolls around! The excitement of family get togethers, or warm, tasty meals, getting together with friends, parties and the planning of happy occasions seems to make the cold bite a little less. It warms the heart, bones and core of the human spirit in a way nothing else does. Happy thoughts and moods fill the air, and smiles abound all over. I love it!

Today at work was slow, but the people were so considerate and less hasty than usual. That is a good sign. It was a pleasure to meet them and help them in any way I could. One lady in particular that has made some grapevine wreaths to sell, had a few sales today. I was very happy for her. She and her husband are having tough times right now, and I know how desperately she needed the cash. It was a pleasure to let her know. Funny how thankful she was to me, I did not buy them. She is a very kind hearted and good natured person to be sure. Another friend of mine going through really tough times, got a well needed car today, no easy task. Many more months of hardship paying for it I am sure, but she needed it desperately. I asked her to send some good luck my way too! Of course it was more hard work, and scrimping that got her there, but I admire her fortitude and tenacity. I am hoping they both have the best holiday season ever. It is well deserved! Wish them luck and say a prayer for them and so many others who need it.

No big news on the lottery front, yet. I do have to pick up some prints of my work in the morning. They are finally finished and it will take all the money I have to my name to get them. I hope I can make some sales for myself this week. I will need the gas money. The good news is I am too broke to buy cigarettes (as an addict, it is hard to say that, but the truth is the truth), so on my last pack now, I hope to quit in the next day or so. Maybe karma will be extra nice to me, and get me the gas money I need to get to work this week! Hoping you had a wonderful week, and also, that your weekend is blessed. All my love to you all, diana

PS. I have been getting a lot of questions about feeds and how to connect with this blog. Unfortunately I am not that computer savvy yet, or maybe I don't really know what they are asking. If you see this, can you take the time to check out some of their questions, maybe you can help! Thank you in advance, love always, diana
